Did you know that each year, Classroom Law Project hosts nearly 4,000 students from Oregon and Southwest Washington through our Courthouse Experience Tour program? Students in grades 5-12 watch the law come alive during visits to the Multnomah County Courthouse and the Justice Center. Tours are led by trained Classroom Law Project volunteers. We need volunteer tour guides to facilitate these tours. This is the perfect opportunity for people who want to learn more about what goes on in the courtroom. Our guides come from a variety of backgrounds, nonlegal and legal alike. It is a also great fit for retired educators! We have many volunteers who are lucky enough to work for companies, such as Umpqua Bank, Pacific Continental Bank, and The Standard, that encourage volunteer service as part of the work day.
