We've all heard the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words," but how does this really play out in the litigation process? Using a combination of tips and case studies, this presentation / discussion will focus on the following issues:
1. The value of visual tools in understanding technical and complex issues.
2. When it is appropriate / cost-effective to begin work on these materials.
More about the speaker:
As the principal of Fat Pencil Studio, Joshua creates visual tools and exhibits including timelines, maps, charts, and animation. His skill with real-time 3d modeling drives better collaboration between investigators, experts and attorneys during team meetings and allows creation of interactive courtroom exhibits. Joshua has been retained as a 3d visualization expert in more than 50 cases, and provided sworn testimony for several of these. He has also served as a juror on several occasions, most recently acting as foreman on a misdemeanor hit-and-run case.
