The OPA Pro Bono group will meet on August 16th at noon at Dunn Carney, 851 SW 6th Ave, 15th Floor, Portland, OR. A light lunch will be provided. The group will discuss creative ideas for the pro bono table at the OPA convention in Lincoln City on November 8-9. The group will also focus on selecting an organization to support that we will partner with for the next year: at the convention, the winter charity drive and 2020 paralegal day.
In the past, we have partnered with Classroom Law Project, Innocence Project, Oregon Summer Star Camp, CASA and many more. Please bring your ideas to the meeting, or email them to my attention if you are not able to attend the meeting. Please feel free to invite others who may be interested in these projects.
