Ethical Dilemmas

An Interactive Virtual CLE Workshop & Social Gathering for Paralegals

Is it ethical to use knowledge and connections from one active case to aid a client in a second unrelated case? Is it ethical for an attorney to ask paralegals to attach electronic signatures to documents while on vacation? This workshop will shed light on these and other ethical dilemmas inherent to your work as a paralegal.

Please submit your ethical conundrums for discussion at the workshop by January 18, 2021 to admin@oregonparalegals.org.

This event is hosted courtesy of Fat Pencil Studio on the gather.town platform. Gather is a video-calling space that lets multiple participants hold separate conversations in parallel, walking in and out of the conversation just as you would in real life. Participants should plan to attend on a laptop or desktop computer with video capabilities. Due to the interactive nature of this CLE, a dial in option is not available.

This CLE is approved for 1.0 ethics credit through NFPA/OPA

The participation link will be distributed prior to the start of the event.
