The Corporate Transparency Act requires certain (non-exempt) companies to file a report with the Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) containing personal identifying information about the company, beneficial owners, and company applicants.

As a member of the State Bar of California, Lydia Duynstee has served CT’s law firm and corporate clients on the west coast, where she focuses on educating and developing strategies for corporate compliance issues arising in finance, M&A, and real estate matters. She is a subject matter expert in due diligence as it relates to the Uniform Commercial Code and lien and court services and has gained deep knowledge about the Corporate Transparency Act. Lydia has been active in the legal community as a court-appointed child advocate (CASA) for 16+ years. She spends much of her free time in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish.
