OPA is offering one Certification Scholarship for the 2026-2027 fiscal year for either the PACE® or PCCE™ exam. See below information for complete guidelines and application instructions.
The application deadline is Monday, October 5, 2026, and the winner and scholarship will be announced at OPA’s Annual Convention on Friday, October 23, 2026.
OPA CERTIFICATION SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES
OPA is a member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (“NFPA®”). NFPA offers two nationally-recognized credentialing exams:

Applications will be reviewed and scored by OPA’s Certification Scholarship Ad Hoc Committee. Finalists will be notified by October 16, 2026, in time to make arrangements to attend the Annual Convention where the scholarship will be awarded.

2026-2027 OPA Certification Scholarship Application
1 The candidate will be reimbursed by OPA for the costs associated with the above. The Candidate shall submit all costs with proof of payment for reimbursement. OPA will provide half of the reimbursement after proof of payment and the second half upon proof of taking the exam (passing the exam is not a requirement for reimbursement). OPA does not reimburse any re-take fees.
2 Applicant may request one three or six month extension from the OPA Board, if extenuating circumstances arise.
